Sample letter at POE

would like to send a letter requesting for longer duration (6 months stamp) for my mother who would travel within 2 weeks and she cannot speak english.I see a sample format in the **** **** webiste. My husband had sponsored my parents visa at the time of interview.Can someone please let me know if the sample letter has to be adressed by my husband(who was the sponsor) or i can do it myself (as an inviter), also please let me know if i can just sign the letter and send them the scanned copy for my mother to take a print out later, or is it better to mail the letter with the original signature. Does the officer consider or even read this kind of a letter at the POE. Please let me know as i am running short of time. Appreciate anyone sharing their experience whose parents have already visited US and who could not speak english as well.
