Visitors visa for cousin

Hello. I am writing to inquire about how to obtain a visitor’s visa (B2) for my cousin. She is a citizen of the UK and will have been staying with us here in Texas for 3 months in October. She would like to apply for a visitor’s visa in order to stay with us another 3 months past October (return to the UK in January 2008). What are the steps we need to take and the costs/length of process involved?

I have look all over the internet and still find no definitive answers to these questions. Additionally, I have no idea where in Houston to go to begin.
