Dependent visa option for spouse of B1 visa holder

One of my cousin is going to visit USA on B1 visa for 3-4 months.
He also wants to get his wife along.

What visa could she be eligible for?

Will tourist visa be only option for her or she would be eligible for any other kind of visa?

Yes she will also be eligible for a B1/B2 . There is no dependent visa in this category.

Her visa app will be assessed not as a dependent but as an independent applicant; if she will be leaving any ties in India since both of them will be leaving . If she cannot show strong ties, (children, stable job with good income, household) , she may be denied.
