Pls help it is very urgent

Hi guys My mother has visa apoointment on 23rd aug so very less time left. My mother got her green card in 2000 but she just visited once so it is 7yr back she was here for just two month . now we are expecting a baby so want to call my mother. father will be staying there. we have sponsoring her for B1/B2 visa. My question is does she require to tell VO that she does not want to maintain green card or just don't tell anything. as we have property there so they don't want to settle here, and we are 6 brother and sis 4 of them are here and two back in India. Pls pLs Pls help me what she should tell Vo about her green card and it is Expiring in 2010.

She does not have a choice whether she wants to maintain green card or not. She has already lost that status.
