Hi,
I need help for my mom's case. She has applied for B2 tourist visa twice, but the application was rejected. Previously she already have a valid B2 visa, and she applied for B2 extension visa while she was in the US. However her B2 extension was rejected since in the application form we mentioned that she is here to help taking care of her granddaughter (of which they said it is a form of employment, while B2 visa holder is supposed to be in the US for vacation only).
When she showed this B2 extension rejection letter to the US consulate, her previously valid B2 visa was cancelled, and since then she has difficulty applying for another B2 visa. She has tried twice in the past 6 months.
I was wondering if there is anything that can be done to this matter, or is our only option is to wait and reapply in the near future (and how long before we can reapply ?)
