should my mother who is aged more than 60 yrs attend an inperson interview

Hello all

My mother is 60+ of age. Should she take the visitor visa interview in person or can she send the documents by post. I remember there was a rule earlier where senior citizens can send documents by post.

Does any one know if this rule still exist?

she has to take the visitor visa interview in person, because in visa office they will take fingerprints, for that reason every non-immigrant visa applicant should attend consulate in person.
