Trying get appointment online?

Thanks to all contributors

I am trying to get B2 visitor visa appointment online, I am living in US and this appointment is for my parents living in Gujarat.

I am trying to get visa interview in gujarati at mumbai US consulate

Since last sunday I am trying everday, on different times of day but always getting same message

"Interview appointment not currently available, Please check back in 24 hours. If you have an urgent need to travel, please consulate emergancy appoint on this site"

Is this normal?

I mean site is going to keep my data for 7 days and then I have to refill all the information, and who know I will get that same message for another couple weeks or month.

Does agents in India will do somthing different and my parents will appointment faster with those people?

What should I do?

I will appreciate any help in this matter.

I was having the same problem when I was trying to look for an appointment date for Delhi US Embassy in Hindi language. But once you try in English lots of dates come up. My father and brother do not have any problem with english but my mom does not speak or understand that fast... but lot of threads suggested that we can request for hindi interepretter or they can allow my dad or my brother to explain things for her. This applies to Delhi not sure about Bombay. best of luck.

its normal... Keep trying.. I don't think agents can get an earlier date...

I did try for about 2+ weeks for Tamil appt.

Don't quote me on this, but Friday mornings (6-9 PST), Chennai consulate
seems to open appts. I am not sure about mumbai...
