Need info for Visitor's visa

Dear Sir /Madam,

I am currently pursuing M.S. degree in United States on F1 visa . I want to invite my mother and younger brother on the occasion of my graduation ceremony this year.

I shall really appreciate to know if it is necessary for me to submit an Affidavit of Support (I-134) on behalf of my mother and brother ? I am on student visa but work as a graduate assistant in the same university and my income is $ 18K per annum as shown by my tax returns for past three years.

Also I would appreciate your suggestions on whether or not I should try to show my capacity of supporting my family visit to USA.

Either you or your mother/father or someone needs to show how the expenses in US will be taken care of.
