passport not stamped

Hi guys
My mother got rejected for visitor visa but her passport never got stamped stating anything, like application received and etc as I read on this website just she got a refusal letter. My question is should I mention about her refusal in DS156 form. I am planning to reapply for her visitor visa.

yes you have to lying can lead to more problems. Even though they did not stamp the passport they will have records.

Nowadays, the consulate does not stamp anything on the passports. But they sure maintain data on each and every visa applications.
So, better be honest there.
