My mother-in-law had an appointment (in Tamil) at the US Consulate in Chennai on Sep-07, 2007 at 8:30AM.
This was the 3rd attempt at getting a visa, the last 2 times were in Nov 2006 and May 2007.
The visa officer was an American with a male English-Tamil translator.
Here are the questions the VO asked:
VO: With whom do you stay in India?
VO: Who is in the US?
VO: When did your daughter get married?
VO: When did your daughter go to the US?
VO: Do you have property in India?

I would like to thank **** **** for providing me with all the necessary information to obtain a visitor's visa.
