Hi All,
My husband and I are students here in the US and my parents have applied for visitors visa in the chennai consulate. They had filled the DS forms and have also gotten an interview date. I have a few questions after these forms.
1. My mother's details were entered first and then my father was added in the process of getting an interview slot. However, only my mother has got the DS-157 form filled. For my father, this form DS-157 was never asked. Both my parents are below 56 years. Is this normal or did they make any mistake in the filling up process.
2. I noticed that my mother's mother name is misspelled in the form and also it is required to login to the application. What can be done now. Is there any way to change it.
3. How many months is it advisable to enter in the DS-156 forms. Some friends were suggesting to put only 3 months and not to show 6 months. Is this true.
They have their appointment in two weeks. Any help or inputs is greatly appreciated.
