Visa Interview

Hello,

I have a question regarding appointment for visa interview. I am inviting my mother to visit the US over summer. She does not speak or understand english. While booking for her appointment there were no available dates for 'interpreter available' slots. The Chennai embassy when called said they could not say when it would be next available. However there are interview slots available readily if you do not require an interpreter.

Please advise what would be the best way to proceed.

You need to take the interview slot in the local language only.
