parents got visa

Hi all,

First of all I would like to thank immihelp for making this possible.
My parents had appointment on 13th sept at 9.45am. They reached their before
8o'clock and they were allowed to enter inside at 8. They were called for interview by 9.00 am. My visa status is h4 and now on EAD.
The questions asked were,
VO : Who are u going to visit in US?
dad: my daughter and son inlaw
VO : how many children do you have?
dad: 2 chilren 1 daughter and son
VO: Is your son married and settled?
dad: no son is unmarried and working
VO: When did oyur daughter last visit India?
dad : said the month and 2006
VO: can I see the passport cpoies of your sponsor(my husband) and daughter?
dad : gave the document he said that VO did not even glanced at it.
VO : how long do you wnt to stay in US?
dad: 3 months
VO : Do you have any properity here?
dad: yes. i 'll show u the chartered accounatant statement.
VO: no no never mind
VO: What do you do here?
dad: I am retired from ......................My wife is working in ..............
VO : your visa will be couried to you.
dad: thank you
They didnt ask for any other document and no questions were asked to my mom.This was their first interview.

it was chennai consulate and language was english

Did u also send invitation letter or only ur husband has sent it.pls let me know.

we sent only one invitation letter signed by both of us at the end.The format was same as that of one given in this site.

thanks,actually we have sent 2 one from my husband and one from me ,hope this doesn't mess up.any advice is accepted.shall we remove one invitation letter i.e mine(OR) two invitation letters will do .pls let me know .anyone
