    Hi All
We went through a Travel Agent to get an appointment at Chennai office for my mother and he got us an appointment pretty soon. She is scheduled for Sep 24th and now the agent says there is no translator available. At this last moment , its not an option to cancell and reschedule for a translator.
Would it be a problem not being able to converse in English during the interview? Even if can prep our Mom with all English answers , she is worried that she will not be able to follow the American Accent. Does anyone have encountered this issue and still got the Visa?

We would really appreciate if anyone can shed some light with some helpful TIPS. Many said that if lucky we might get a translator when you get to the interview, but chances are very less. Please Help

you lawyer screwed up. you did not need him/ you dont need him. no one can say anything definitively abt if you can get a translator. many times, the VO's themselves speak regional language.

It is better let them attend the interview. Sometimes the VO speak local language or they may get help for a tranlator. Let them face the VO with confidence. If the case is genuine then they will get the visa. Good Luck
