Hi,
My mother and brother went to visa in Chennai on Sep21, mother got visa but brother was rejected. Here is interview details:
All answers were given by my brother becuase my mother does not speak ebglish. Vo started asking my brother the following questions:
1) Why are you going to US
2) Is your brother sponsoring your visa
3) What do you do (my brother is marketing manager)
4) How much you earn (My brother told his salary)
5) Is your brother US citizen (I am green card holder)
6) Are you married (My brother is married with 2 kids and they bothe go to school)
7) Do you have any children(My brother said he has2 children)
8) Why is your wife not accompyning you (My brother said she has take care of kids, he is just accompanying my mother because can't travel alone and he has go vacation for a month)
9) How did your brother enter` into US (I entered as student)
10) Hoe long your brother is in uS
At this point VO said he will back in 1 min and came back after 5min.
He came back from the break and started asking some same questions:
Which university my brother went in INDIA!!!(My brother said Osmania university)
Vo asked for his original degree certificate (My brother did not carry it because I didn't tknow they ask for that)
Again Vo asked, are u married?
How many chilren you have?
He asked for my passport copy before goingon break and again after coming from break, looked at my green card copy and all. He did see any documents my brother carried! They took all documents from my side and his side, including proerty affidavits, no objection letter etc..but Vo did not see anything. He started playing with the passport copy I sent and wasted some time. Interview went for more than 10min!!! Finally he told my brother hehas good news and bad news. He said he will give visa to my mother but cannot give my brother and said sorry. My brother said it is OK and my brother was walking away and for some reason my brother turned back, and VO said he is really sorry!!! My brother had each and every document! I am clueless what could be done differently!
I am planning to reapply for my brother next week itself so he will have interview in mid October. I don't know to wait for 3 months or 6 months because his status is not going to change!!
Please advise me what I should do? WHen should I reapply again?
What can I do different this time (I have no idea)?
What should I prepare him for?
Please help me with any information.
