Here's My background. I am 34 years old, married but separated even before my son was born. My son is 12 years old. I have a good Job & salary. Here are my questions:
1. My passport is Single, i never used my married name ever and all my documents are single. Because we separated 1 week after my wedding. We havent finalized the dissolution of our marriage yet. Will i have a problem? Also, what will i put in the application married or separated?
2. I don't have brother, sister, mom or father in the US. But my father's cousin leaves there. Should i declare that too? in the ds form 157?
3. I only have $3000 in the bank, would that suffice? Though i will share expenses with a friend who is coming with me.
4. Is it okay to put in the ds-156 in the "who will accompany you to the us" is a male friend and say will share also expenses with him? Do you think they might assume that he is my boyfriend?
5. What are my chances on getting a tourist Visa. I'll be there for 15-20 days only.
