Is property needed for my mother ( b2 visa)?

i am planning to bring my mother in tourist visa.

i am currently on h1b visa.

Now my mother doesn't have any property on her name. All the property are in my father's name.

Does she need to have property or bank balance on her name?.

My father will not be traveling.

Please advise.

Property specifically in your mother's name is not required. If your father has property, she can show that.

Why not your father also attend the interview by taking a fresh appointment. Once they get the visa it is not necessary that your father should travel. He can go afterwards.
