Hi,
I have been reading posts from various people, some who have been successful in obtaining visitor visas for their parents and some not successful.
I read a post from Sumit, Boston, USA dated April 12th 2007 and his suitation is similar to ours.
We are one of the rejected cases:
Reason:
My husband is the only child and the understanding is that his parent will not return back to India
His mother was interviewed this past week and her visa was rejeceted.
I have been reading and seen that someone suggested an Affidavit. It would be really helpful if someone has faced a similar situation and has been successful in obtaining the B-2 visa is the second attempt or any suggestions are welcome at this point.
Thanks,
Amy
