Duration between visits

Hi. My father who has 10 year multiple visa went to back to india last week after staying in USA for 1 year (6 + 6 months extension). Is there any stipulated duration before revisit. when can he come to USA again?

Exactly. Wait at least 18 months before trying to get him to come back. There is no reason a "visit" would last for 1 year...

If he attempts to come back within 1 year, he will probably be denied entry and sent back. As he is not showing ANY ties to his home country (what kind of tie can you leave away for 1 year?)

This is what chennai 123 argued in some other web site for which some people did not like his saying so. People get B2 visa for visiting. But some misuse it by living there. How can one answer for staying for 1 year and still saying roots are in Home country. It is absurd.
