Interview passed smoothly. Only one question asked to both:
Question: Your son has been in the US for 9 years so why didn't you plan a visit before now?
Ans: I only retired last year as a colonel from the Indian Army Medical Core and couldn't take much leave when I was in active service.
No questions asked about their son being a PR or about their other son who is also in the US on an H1B or about the fact that they are coming to meet their first grandchild (4 months old).
No papers checked.
Tickets have been booked for a 4.5 month stay. No extensions planned.
