88 days in the USA possible?

I would like to stay in the USA for 88 days with my family.
We are retired and do not need to work, we can prove independent income.

We then plan to visit Canada for 16 weeks, (4 months).

We then want to visit America again for another 88 days.

Is this possible with our normal visitor visas ?

At no time will we stay over 90 days and we will leave 4 months in between visits.

cycling may be a problem

if you keep on cycling this, then you'll have a problem at the poe while entering the US.

once or so is normal, repetitious visits on a periodic time-line will be questioned
