tourist visa to parents--sign ?

hi all,

am on H1 and wish to get my parents here on tourist visa.what r the docs reqd to sponser?i have gone thru this site for the reqd. docs..i would like to know:

is My Birth certificate compulsory?

my mother studied till 7th.she can understand english but cant speak..so how to fix for the translator @ the time of visa interview? also if she signs the passport/ any other document in her native language(telugu) would it be aproblem? is it compulsory to sign it in english?

While scheduling an interview, you can choose the language and ask for the translator.

She can sign in any language she desires.
