Already have visa, need affidavit of support ?

Hi,

We're looking to take a family friend with us from India ( Chennai ) to the USA - she already has a 10 year multiple entry visa. However, we will be responsible for her expenses for the trip.

Do I need to fill out an affidavit of support to present at immigration in the US ?

Do I need any documents other than our letter of invitation, letter of my employment and print outs of bank statements ?

It would still be a good idea if the person presents at least a letter of invitation, stating where she will stay, the purpose of the trip and that you guys will cover food and host the visitor.

But then again, it is all up to the Officer at the POE now.
