time of allowed stay?

Dear Sir/Madam

I am an Iranian.My passport is from Iran. I entered US as a tourist( B2 visa).At the port of entry I have done fingerprint and my visa for stay in the US is vlid by 6 months after the date of entry.So my question is as follow;

At the port of entry I intended and told the officer that I want to stay for 1 month,but now I want to stay 3 or 4 months,because my visa is vlid for 6 months,in this case do I have to notify immigration or any other government that I want to stay 2 or 3 months more or not ??

You can stay until the date mention in your I-94.
