I thought I will share this.
My parents went for the interview Friday. They had all the documents that were needed. They went for an English appointment. My mom doesn't speak english and my father answered for her as both went together. Below are the questions asked (all of them standard questions).
1) How many children you have?
2) What do they do?
3) Who is sponsoring your trip?
4) Where did you work?
5) Its been how long you retired?
6) How long has your son been in US?
7) If he was there for 15 years, why didn't you go all these years?
8) You have any close family in India?
9) What do you do (to my mom)?
Thats it. They checked all the documents (sponsor and visitor docs) and said they will mail the passport in three days with the visa (not sure if it will be 6 months or 10 years).
