Urgent help needed Kindly advice please (port of entry)

Hi all,

I invited my parents for my graduation in december'07, I study and reside in California . My parents already got the visa. If my parents arrive in New york. will they face any problem at port of entry???? as New york is totally opposite side from California.

Kindly advice please.

Not if ...

No, they should not have any problems as long as they have tickets for further travel to CA and a valid reason for landing in NY rather than flying directly to CA.

If they do not have plans to immediately fly from NY to CA, then give them a letter explaining what are their plans and when will they fly to CA for your graduation.

ya we do have recent travel tickets to California and infact their departure is from california to india too.
