Interview in November..Travel Plan in March/April - pls. help

Hello friends,

Is it possible for my parents to apply for visitor visa in Nov but they will be traveling sometime in March. Does the VO or visa gives this flexibility.

Why I am asking..I am planning to send my parents for visa i/v in Nov..if in case visa rejected ..they can apply in march again. If accepted then no issue.

Pls. help.
