Documents to be submitted/shown at entrance

I would like to know what r documents to be submitted at entrance on visa appointment time.
As I understand,interview letter+ds156+ds157+photoes+HDFC receipt for visa fees are to be submited or to be shown.
and during interview documents like financial ties+sponsors documents= family ties proofs+ employment/busines ties proof are to be shown only on VO's demands.
If this correct?

One of my employee's father-in-law makes a simple/neatly organized (it's even labeled.. I've seen it, very professional looking) folder of all his latest documents and just submits it all with the application to the officer. He has never been denied a visa or entry.
