delivery of passport

If the passport after visa stamp is not collected on the same day,it is then delivered the address already mentioned.
Can we request to change the delivery address on interview day

I read on the American Consulate in Mumbai website that you can make corrections to your application/address during the interview by writing on it or mentioning to the Visa officer.
