  • Mothers Visitor visa along with my L-1 Visa

I am an Indian and my sister and brother-in- law are in US. My brother-in-Law has L1 visa status and are there for the last 8 months. My mother is a widow and staying with me.
I have B-1 multiple entry visa stamped. My employer is intending to send me to US shortly and are in the process of filing L1 visa for me and dependents visa for my wife and kid. My mother was planning to visit my sister in US and we need to file Visitors visa for her. She has 2 properties in India and sufficient bank balance and investments. She also recieves pension as my father was a govt emplyee. Will there be any issues if we file the visitors visa during the same time I file my L1 visa application? If I go to US and then file her visitor visa, will it be an issue that both her childern are there in US, though we have other relatuives, properties and investments in India. She intends to just visit them and in no way is our intention to keep her there and we also intend to come back after our assignment.

If she gets her visa and visits my sister there, what should be the gap between two visitis to US on visitors visa?

    Thanks and Regards

You application for L1 will not bear a positive or negative effect on her B2 application.

Time between two visits to the US depends on how long was the first visit and how long do you expect the second visit to be. I would add the time of those two visits and that would be the gap.

    For instance.

I visit USA for 4 months. I leave, then I want to visit for another 4 months. Then between my first and second visit I would wait 8 months.
