Vistor visa applying from UK

Hello,

I am studying in UK, doing my Masters in Computing. I complete my course in FEB 2008 and get my degree in JULY 2008.
My student visa was expiring on JAN 08 but i have to get it extended before i apply for US tourist visa.
I wanted to visit my cousin brother in US can you tell me

1.. being a student should i say i am sponsring my self for the trip
2.. or my cousin brother is sponsoring the trip?

myself.. but my brother is sending his bank statements, as well, and i am giving my bank statemets as well.
to show a good balance.

what would be better to tell the consulate? if i am gettin sponsered or he is sponsring my trip.?

You will, most likely, be asked to apply from your home country as you are a student in UK and not working there.

You can answer truthfully, whatever the case is - you are sponsoring, or your brother.

No, i have spoken to the consulate they said tht i can apply from here as i am a student here...

well i think i should have good bank statements with good amt in it..so that i can show my independent stay ... if required.

any comments?
