Hi...this is very urgent plz do give me reply asap...

1) Do i have to request for the interpreter while taking an appointment for US Counsulate in Chennai if my mother can speak only Urdu? and also tell me whether Chennai counsulate provide urdu intrepreters?

2) I and my Husband lives in U.S...he is on H-1 and iam on H-4 and i want to call my mother here .My Husband is sponsoring for her tour,will there be any problem if he does this?

3) My mother dont have surname...so i wrote FNU in DS-156 inplace of it but in DS-157 i got FNU as default in last name?Why is it so n is there any problem if her name comes like xxxxxxxxxx FNU...

i have one more question...

There are no dates avaiable in Hindi...there is also an option of Urdu...can i go for it ,coz i have a doubt that in chennai will there be Urdu Interpreters and also i filled Ds-156 and 157 and i didnt select the dates can i select the dates now if i want an appt in hindi???

If they are showing Urdu as an option, you can go for it if the dates are available. Whatever languages they are showing, they will have interpreters for those languages.

If i take an appointment n later i found out that there are some changes to be made in my DS-156 or 157 ,can i make changes or not???

sir my mother doesnot have surname and last name so i wrote NA in both these fields and in the place of FIST AND MIDDLE names i wrote her name...is it ok to do so...

Sponsoring my uncle and aunt - few questions

Hi,

Iam sponsoring my uncle and aunt and they the appiontment in dec last week. I have few questions regarding the documents:

1. Do I need send them 2 sets of documents?
2. Do i have to send 2 originals for emp letter and bank letter for each person?
3. In 2004 I worked for few months and my W2 shows the amount which is very less compared to 2005. Will that be ok or Can I just send last 2 years of tax returns and W2?
