I94 Expiring in April - Want to invite parents in Jan

Hi

I am on H1B and my I94 is expiring in April. I want to apply for my parent's visa in Jan.

I wanted to know if it would be a good idea to wait till I get my H1B extension before I apply for their visa. Or is it Ok for them to apply because my visa would still be valid for the next 3 months when they apply in Jan.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

As long as you are in legal status when you sponsor, it does not matter that your visa/I-94 are expiring in next 3 months.
