  • Parents VISA : Will there be joint interview, what kind of file they should carry

    Hi,

My parents VISA interview is scheduled early next week..... I have following queries :

    1. My mother's no. is 48 and father's is 49.....will there be joint interview together if they are travelling together ? Do they need to request for the same in advance ?

    2. Do both of them need to carry papers in 2 separate files ? or put all documents in one file for both of them ?

    3. What kind of file is allowed to carry (is a plastic hard cover file with punched docuements is ok ?)

    4. I read in some of the responses that VO asked for form D-156 when the person reached the counter......but as per the process this form is submitted to VFS 4 days ahead of interview...then is it given back at the time of interview or we need to carry duplicate form ?

    5. One of them is wearing specs (not the sun glasses) in the photo , but eyes are clearly visible....is it ok or we need another photo without glasses ?

Thanks in adavnce.....appreciate your early reponse.....

    Regards,

    Sachin

he experiences presented here span years.. the procedures change so if the docs have been submitted in advance the Vo will have them. But it is always better to have a copy just in case.

carry 1 set of docs if the appointment was together. no need for a new photo
