  • visitor's visa for my mother in law

    Hi,
My mother in law appeared for B2 Visa interview twice and got rejected.
My husband is on H4 visa and doesnot work here . The Consulate asked her about her son and his educational background during the interview and she replied that he is not doing any job but helping her daughter in law at home.
She has a government Job and she needs to come back after the visit. She has all the the proof to show that.
Can anyone please suggest what should be the answer when they ask her about her son (what he is doing and why he is dependant on her daughter in law). They are believing that she's going to settle down in US.

    Please respond...

There is no rule that husband must be working and wife can either be working or be housewife.

Husband can stay at home too.

Aren't husband, wife supposed to be treated equally? No discrimination? Strength and capabilities of woman same as man?

    Use such arguments.
