My mom has been separated from my step-father, her 2nd husband, for a couple of years now. They are still legally married but live in 2 different cities. Mom has a job, but little or no assets, and is financially supporting her 22 year old son from her 2nd marriage. My brother and I (her children from her 1st marriage), both permanent residents, also send her money each month to help her make ends meet.
Question 1: does the fact that we send her money each month negatively impact hers and her son's visitors visa applications?
Question 2: considering that she has little or no assets but has a job and financially supports her son, what sort of documents would they have to show strong ties to their country?
Question 3: She is considering getting a divorce from her 2nd husband, my step-father. Will this negatively impact her B-2 application?
Thanks,
Meena
