hi everyone, this is my first post and I appreciate anyone who would answer some questions I have.

-I am a 25 yr. old filipino with a stable job in a multinational company, been out of the country a couple of times in business trips with my company affiliates in europe. I am single and living with my parents at the moment,

    here's my question:
I am not planning to go to the US anytime soon but I would like to apply for a B1/B2 visa just for future use. What if the consul asks me when I would like to go to the US? Is it ok for them if I want the visa only for future travels?

What are my chances of being approved as I have read through the posts in here that young bachelors oftentimes have trouble getting approved because of the fact that without a wife or children, consuls tend to react on these facts thinking that I canand probably will stay on the US without thinking of any family back home?

    Thanks in advanced..

you can apply and try your luck, but being single and having not defined travel plans will not help you get a visa.
