Valid B1/B2 on old passport

I have a B1/B2 visa which is valid untill Apr. 2009. My passport expired the end of 2004. Can I use the valid visa (old passport) with the new passport.

Yes, without any problems

Do note that the old/expired passport is what's cancelled, the valid visas in the passport are never cancelled. In fact this is the stamp that most passport issuing agencies in India & abroad put on the cancelled passports.

You need to make sure you carry this expired passport with your valid visa, along with the new passport when you travel.

The only hassle is to carry the two documents.

The other alternative, which I don't recommend, is to get the visa stamped on your new passport.
