Sister's visitor visa questions

Hi Friends,

I would like invite my sister's family to U.S.A on visitor's visa.
My Brother-in-law works for Govt organization and their son is in 10th
class and daughter is in 2nd standard.

Should I sponsor her family financially or will it get better if I ask my
sister to show the funds for her entire trip? If so, what all the docs should she show?

Also, important question for me is, my nephew is in 10th standard and my
sister is asking, if they get rejected for visitors visa, will my nephew will have
any impact later on when he applies for F1 (students visa) when he applies for M.S studies after 6 yr?

I appreciate any help on this. Any tips on document etc to make their case strong? My BIL will take letter from Govt organization and my nephew will take letter from school that he is in the middle of 10th class and final exams are in May and we would like to make their trip before that.
