Interview langauge - Appointment date

Hi,

For visitor's visa, my parents are not fluent in English and would prefer inteview to be in Kannada.
Do we need to decide the language of interview while booking an appointment?
Can we take an appointment for English and in the consulate can it be changed?

No, you have to keep trying. They only have interpreters available in certain dates and times.
