Travel date from day of stamping

Hi,

I am sponsoring my parents visitor visa and am planning for their stamping in Jan 2008 but they might not travel till May-June.

Is there any such rule that after visa stamping when you are travelling for first time, then the travel should be initiated in first 6 months of stamping.

I have observed the same questions keep repeating here in this forum. Answer seekers never take the trouble of searching the forum for similar questions in the past. They just join, post questions, get answers and get lost. This, I think is not the way it should be.

I myself search through this site for my own previous posts and use those links to respond to repeat questions.

Use options like user name, key words etc.

Irrespective of how the search works, do you see a first sticky thread on Visitors Visa forum that says 'FAQ - Read this before posting questions'?

I am sure most people don't read that either.
