Visitors VISA rejected 7th time

Hello Everyone,

My parents VISA is rejected seventh time and I thought I did everything right. I thoroughly prepared documentation following guidelines provided in this website along with congressmen letter. When my parents attended interview this time, they were told that they can apply for immigration saying rules are relaxed. We are 2 siblings, both of us have GC. Consulate ofice told that since both kids are GC holders, we could apply for their immigration. Beyond this nothing was elaborated.

I am scratching my head to understand that means. Could someone offer me some help in options if aware? It's really depressing VISA being rejected so many times and I feel really helpless.

Hi shyam,
Do not worry. I know people who got visa even after their 7th and 8th attempts.

Before I can say something on your parents' application, why do not you take any professional help from immigration lawyers, in their visa process?
I am sure they will give you proper advice.

By the way, how old are your parents and what are they doing here for living?
as these play important role.

My dad is little over 60 and he is retired and my mom is house wife . Well what's baffling is my cousins parents in exactly same situation got VISA couple of weeks ago.

Do not worry. My parents were rejected 5 times and I am hopeful for the 6th time. We plan to try next year after one year gap.

I am not sure why they gave that reason. Don't they know they can apply for immigration even from India once you or your sibling has citizenship. So this reason does not make much sense in your case.

Anyways do not lose hope. Hope is way of life. How long are you away from applying for citizenship. I know most parents only want to visit but at times the system forces them to apply for a GC. In fact officers should understand this and infact grant visitor visas to parents whose kids are GC holders esp if they are not far away from getting citizenship.

Good luck. Give a gap of a couple months and maybe try again. Give reasons what are the ties. Family, property to manage etc.
