Infant traveling to USA

I lived in South Africa when i got my USA visitors visa and its valid till 2015. I am currently staying in New Zealand - will that be a problem?

I will also travel with my infant to visit my sister for 1 month in June next year, he will be 18 mnths by then, will he be required to get a visa ?
