reg. Visiting Visa for my parents

Hi

I would like to know few information on US Visiting visa for my parents.

My Visa status - H1B

1. I would like to know whether I'm eligible to apply visting visa for my parents.
2. What are the steps and documents to be submitted from my side and from parents side.
3. How to start applying for visa. Do I need to initiate from US or my parents from India.
4. In one of the website I read minimum bank balance should be $5000 per person. I have
been to US only 3 months back and I'm sure I will be fine to take up my parents because
my balance will be more in next 3-5 months. So I would like to know how to proceed with
these details.
5. How long the visa process will take.

I kindly request you to guide me with some inputs based on above queries.
