Canadian staying in US

Hi,

My gf is a Canadian. I am in US. If she wants to come live with me and have no jobs, what can she do?

I know that holding Canadian passport can stay in US for 6 months. Can she leave US for a month and come back? Stay another 6 months and then come back. Will she be banned if doing it too many times?

She can not do this. There is nothing she can do (without applying for a work visa) to live in the USA.

The only thing you can do is marry her or get engaged and file for a K-1 visa (which means marrying in 90 days after she enters the USA with that visa).

She will be banned from entry if she stays 6 months, leaves for 1 month and does it all over again.

She works as an airline reservation stuff. Can she apply for any type of job or it must be related to her field? I know it's hard to find a job if it's not highly skilled job type.

She may be able to apply for a TN1 visa (only open to Canadian and Mexicans)

Her profession is not under the list, so she can't be offered a job that easily.

We are trying to find a permanent solution. But just for the time being, we hope we can at least see each other longer and more often by doing it. Perhaps 2 times max. I know it isn't worth to repeat this all over again. This is not our ultimate solution to our situation.

Do you know how long she should be out before coming back?

You are playing with fire. She could be banned from returning entirely for a period of time. She can't just LIVE in the USA for a period of time...
