  • Third Visit to USA on B1/B2 in one year,,,,Advice needed

Hello Everyone, I Got B1/B2 Visa stamped in Jan 2007 and travelled to US first time on may 9 2007. I showed the proof that iam attending for an exam and I asked for 3 months and they gave me 3 months at Port of entry in Denver.I left US one week before expiry date in August 4. I Visited US again this year on Oct2007,this time I came to attend residency interviews and I didnt show any letter. The visa officer asked me how long do u want to stay and i said I need Till middle of march 2008, he looked at me and then gave till april 26(gave 6 months) but he mentioned NO EOS, NO change of status on back of I-94, which ofcourse I will not do anyway and I wil leave US way before my departure date. BUT my question is I might have have to visit again in June, again for 4-5 months, and that will be third time I wil be travelling in almost a year. Will it be a problem even though we show reason for travelling. Please advise me

yes. It is going to be a big problem. You are making a pattern of a visa abuser with your long and continuous visits to the USA. The POE already suspected of you (hence the no COS, EOS on your I-94).

Every visitor must spend more time in their home country than in the USA. You will have spent 9 out of 12 months in the USA and that makes you an immigration risk. If you return so shortly after a 6 month visit, you are not show ties to your country and the officer may cancel your visa and send you back. After your current visit you should spend at least 1 year at home before trying to return.
