Visa Fee question - please help

Hello,

My mother is going for a visitor visa interview in Jan. Do we need to pay any fee after the visa is approved? Other than HDFC receipt, is there any need to take any Demand drafts to Interview?

Do they allow any persons to assist the interviewee(she is 70 years old)?

1. No other fee is need to be paid.

2. No person is allowed except when an applicant is either hearing or speech impaired.
If your mother could not speak in English, she can opt language interview, where the Consulate will provide for a translator.
