Interview appointment is in English,can we request a translator at interview time?

Hi,

Someone please help me with this.By mistake,we booked the interview for our parents in English.The interview in on 8th Jan.I have tried a lot to postpone the date for Telugu.I can not see any dates on VFS site right now.My father can manage little bit,but I want to know whether we can request for a translator at the time of interview.Please let me know.

Yes.

I think when they go for the interview they can ask for a transalator. Atleast that is what was told to my father when he asked at the VFS recently.Good luck!!

You can not request for a translator when you get there. They are already appointed for specific days and you must get an appointment on such date.
