Visitor Visa for niece (8 year)

Hi,

I'm trying to sponsor a visitor visa for my 8 year old niece. Her younger sister is a US citizen residing in India (my brother was in the US for 4 years and has now returned back for good). Her grand parents (my parents) already have a 10 year visitor visa. The idea is for the grand parents my two nieces to visit us during the summer.

My question is:
1. What is the likelyhood of my niece getting a visa?
Any body with a similar experience can share information it would be really helpful.

2. What supporting documents should we gather. Most of the documents for the invitee are not relevant in this case.

Any help would be much appreciated.
