Needed Information regarding the Tourist Visa

Hi

I am currently working in Canada on work permit and planning to VISIT the USA. I donno the process for Applying the B2 Visa / Tourist Visa. Can you please detail me the procedure for Visiting the US of A.

Also I am currently holding an L1 Visa of the USA. Incase If I apply for a tourist VISA, will my L1 visa be cancelled?.
